    Morning all

Bit showery here and the field was sodden when we took the dogs for a walk. Should have put my wellies on, I think. We're getting them harnesses as they pull like trains and they might be skinny but they're very strong. Don't want them damaging their necks while we're training them to walk nicely on a lead - and lots of training is required!

Hope you get the phone problem sorted 'M' and fingers crossed you haven't missed any calls relating to the job.

Sending good wishes to all and have a great Sunday.

      Aloha everyone,

@"M" congratulations for your son. :blue thumb:

Sorry to hear about your phone problems. I know that you have probably thought of these things, but do you have the old one that you can plug in until the new one is sorted? Then you would need to check whether the old phone rings. We had a non-ringing problem once. Apparently the pulse to the ringer wasn't coming down from the exchange. I guess that you're not with BT otherwise you would be able to check whether the incoming signal is OK.

I've had a very busy morning but hope to get a little bit done outside before it gets dark. It's quite sunny but the forecast isn't very good for the coming week.

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

        Afternoon all,

Woo,that was a shame you missed the Remembrance service ,I watched it on TV too...Marvellous:love30:.. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our soldiers and the bands and was mixing my pastry at double quick time to "It's a long way to Tipperary "...when you reflect on what they all went through it's very sad but makes you feel ten feet tall with pride.:dbgrtmb:

Chilly here but the sun is still shining:blue thumb:

        Enjoy your evening everyone:SUNsmile:

          Chillies here as well :roflol:

Sarafi has just helped me pick the chillies. He stood on the bench alongside the propagator and sniffed each chilli as I put it into the container. The plants are still going strong :blue thumb:. I'm going to take 40 Nagas for the staff at the Indian tonight :hate-shocked:.

So, Wednesday's phone worked? Or is it the same result?

If you have got nada on a corded phone into the main socket, then you appear to have a line fault somewhere along the line. Can you dial out?

In that case, its either the broadband filter interfering or the wire for the ringer pulse has detatched at the back of the socket - you'll probably need an engineer to sort it I'm afraid

The Moon is amazing this morning ,it's so bright it's lit the garden up...It unnerved Theo a bit though ,he was having a growling session at Archi's shadow,it looked like a giant dog was following him:rolleyespink:...

I've had my quota of boiled water now time for a quick cuppa before I head off:coffee:

Have a great day everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

                    Aloha everyone,

It's quite a bright morning here although it looks as though the rain may be hovering over Moyra  but it is scheduled to move out over the coast shortly. :blue thumb:

Yes, and there's about another 20 left on the plant. The boss of the restaurant (who owns other restaurants and the Asian wholesaler) said that the Nagas are better when they are still a bit green. Apparently they're not quite as hot but that they have a better flavour. He took 20 of them for some of his friends in London.

He said that, for next season, he would be happy to sell them at the wholesalers and reckons he could charge 50p each for them. :hate-shocked: I'll try and grow another plant from the seeds because I hope, then, to come to an arrangement (maybe 50:50) for my share to go to the charity.

I'm on my fourth mug now :) :blue thumb:

"M" I hope your phone gets sorted. There's an outside possibility that, if the old phone isn't ringing either, the problem could still be at the exchange but it's more likely to be as FC has stated.

Moyra, I hope your sinuses are clearing :grphg:

Woo, I hope the bouncability factor is still climbing :)

Keep well, everyone and have a great day

                      Morning WW'ers

Woken by an almighty clap of thunder this morning - which had tripped the trip switch.

Thank you all for the good wishes with the phone: surely if it is a wire/socket based issue, I won't be charged for it, seeing as an engineer only put it in less than two months ago? :noidea: Ho hum, have to see what they suggest (particularly as the case is still open for investigation from the fiasco when we first moved here).

Oooh chilli production @shiney that could net you a nice little earner for the charity - great idea!

Enjoy your day everyone: wishing you miles of smiles xMx

                        Good Morning Folks,

Shiney, my sinuses are still playing up so still on the antihistamine. Maybe I need some of those Nagas to clear them out. Lol.

WOO, hope you are still improving.

Have a good day everyone, the sun is trying to come out after a very wet night. Stay safe, dry and warm and do take care.
                        God bless.:wub2:

If it was a loose wire in the socket I would expect them to be responsible if they installed it. Particularly if, as you say, there was a bit of a fiasco about it.

We'd need to produce a lot of Naga chillies to do well for the charity, but every bit helps. :blue thumb:
