For some years I have been growing Bridgwater Climbing Beans, In my opinion one of the finest tasting of the beans. Grown as normal climbing beans the purple flushed pods should be harvested young. When cooked they turn bright green.

I have some saved seed from this years crop which I am offering to any interested members Free - I will pay P&P, but might I suggest a small donation to Gardeners Corner, please.

If of interest please PM your full name and address.

I have only enough for about six to eight lots of 15 or so seeds, so if there is a big take up I will have to put the names in a hat so to speak.

I will send the beans off next week.

But that advice got a bit confusing as I only grow dwarf French bush beans, and I'm still not quite clear on how good they are if allowed to fully mature and the dried seeds are saved to use in cooking.
