been exploring the wide ranges of blues out there, to find one that goes well with honey on top. Still looking. had a nice sheep brie blue , and a cow blue last weekend. So many great blues out there. Have had a delicate blue couple weeks ago, so nice.
And then there are the Stilton’s and the gorgonzola’s, Cheese depends on when the cow, sheep and goat were grazing, spring, summer, fall, and what they fed on.
But love a brie from France, cannot recall half the names. Thank goodness for a good cheese man who lets me nibble his cheeses.
Still the biggest cheese delight comes with the right combinations of cheeses and cream for the ever favorite Mac and Cheese dinner.
Then there is a wonderful baked brie, so yummy with a glass of wine.
The long standing Philly cream cheese, always in my fridge.

"Perl wen" (White pearl)- similar but better than most Camembert/Bries and "Perl las"(Blue pearl) a blue version of the same. Lovely on their own but I like them with fruit, especially pears.

Perl wen is lovely, and the other welsh cheeses.try bodnant if you can find them. And the Montgomery cheddar. Old fashioned taste. And Shropshire blue is very nice alternative to Stilton.

Must mention a new one on me which I tried for the first time this week. It's called Colliers Powerful Welsh Cheddar and is absolutely delish, tastes like a proper mature cheddar oughta. Bought mine via Asda home delivery.

Nothing basic about Cheddar ! a good one can hold its head high amongst all cheeses !

(Must give the Brunost a try!)
