This evening, "Ionian chicken" - our version of a Greek chicken stew - Legs jointed and cooked very slowly with onion, tomato, a little wine, lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon and sultanas. Served with potatoes and a leafy salad. - Fresh fruit to follow.

Not sure what the greeting is for Thanksgiving - but have a lovely time - and enjoy the great food you describe.

Last night I was cooking roast shoulder of lamb, roast potatoes and Brussels. Whilst it was cooking I made a Naga Lamb curry (Vindaloo style, with spuds) that will last a couple of days.

Treated by my favourite uncle to succulent steak and ale pie, the smoothest buttery mash, fresh kale and gravy. Followed by creme brûlée. All enjoyed with happy chat and many laughs, lovely!
