What did you have for dinner?

This evening, "Ionian chicken" - our version of a Greek chicken stew - Legs jointed and cooked very slowly with onion, tomato, a little wine, lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon and sultanas. Served with potatoes and a leafy salad. - Fresh fruit to follow.

Tonite we had Lasagna and garlic bread

 

I have beef bavette flash fried like a minute steak and sweet potato wedges with chilli and like

 

Chicken thighs slow cooked with shallots,garlic, sweet peppers, pink banana squash, leeks, glass of white wine, teaspoon of Harissa . Spinach wilted in at last minute. Yum.

 

tonight oopppsss yesterday now! we had fish boiled potatoes and peas tomorrow oooppps i mean today it will be beef stew lol

Home made Scotch eggs ... yum.

 

Treated by my favourite uncle to succulent steak and ale pie, the smoothest buttery mash, fresh kale and gravy. Followed by creme brûlée. All enjoyed with happy chat and many laughs, lovely!

 

Tonite we had Fish and Chips from the Chippie

 

tonight it was spaghetti and meatballs in a chili and tomato sauce
