I'm good ta Freddy, 10 is the new 20

Seriously, it's fine now the wind has dropped, had enough of that out in the garden today. Don't mind cold days, but that icey blast full of Polar Bears and Bjork fans was enough to make anyone fly South for the winter :yikes:

Would a cheap genny not be a worthwhile buy?

Or could you not get some sort of oil/parrafin heater and install a flue?

Security is a pain with them right enough, but you need something more than tea lights mate

What sort of sleeping bag tog have you got Zigs or are you using blankets/quilts?A place called White Arches in Northamptonshire do high tog sleeping bags especially for this time of year And they have a sale on at the moment.

We have 55oz that we use for winter touring plus I like to have throws on top.If Mr Kandy let us have the heating on through the night I wouldn't need the throws:snork:

I used to read a blog about life in a caravan but think they have given up on that idea:snork:

Can you post any photos of your caravan set up so we can at least see your set up so can advise as I know there are a lot of good folk on here concerned about your living conditions especially with the winter coming up:sad:

I still think a cheap CL site with shower, toilet,EHU,etc would be better than tea lights. With EHU you could have one of those oil filled radiators which would keep you warmer than you are now.:)

Do you have to pay rent for the use of the field or do you own it?

Can your sister not help you out in the winter months with accomadation?

Not trying to be nosey but you need better conditions than what you have at the moment. You can always PM me if you don't want to put out too much info on here or you can just tell me to mind my own buisness.Either way I shall survive:snork:

Aww, you lot are lovely :grphg:

The cunning plan worked, it involved 2 pop cans, some vermiculite and a can of bio ethanol :)

                              DSCN0649.JPG

The vermiculite is inside to act as a wick. DSCN0650.JPG

When it's going you drop a penny over the filling holes in the middle.

Toasty warm in minutes, plus I can boil a kettle down to minus 114 C now :)
