    The postman has just delivered a box.:sofa:

    I have only gone and won a shawl from Harrods, and it retails at £599.:wow:

    The box it came in too was nice.:loll:

        About 20 years ago I won a holiday for 2 in New York, flights & accommodation complete with loads of extras (various trips [helicopter, river, Staten Island, twin towers], Broadway show, 2 meals in top restaurants) + $1,000 spending money, limo transfers each way to airport [watching TV on route with a 'boomerang' aerial on the boot just like in 'Crocodile Dundee'], etc.

        Year later won a mountain bike,

        Then nothing until this year's win of £30's worth of cat food (donated to Cat Protection).

                Also won a 'free fitted kitchen' worth a few thousand pounds, which was rather doubled edged as I gave it to my parents and got the job of fitting it myself complete with all the work, including replacing units/worktops plumbing, electrical, wall tiling, etc. alterations.
