    Morning early people :)

Frosty start here, but clear skies, so it should warm up

Have a good day everyone, and don't forget to put a shovel, warm clothing, torch, food and water in the car boot :)

      Good morning everyone,

Woo what a lovely tree:wub2:..Have you noticed fairies on top of Christmas trees have quite a serious face, they're maybe concentrating on hanging on:th scifD36::biggrin:

Shiney...Sounds like that chap got out of bed the wrong side:doh:It instantly creates an atmosphere when you see folks faces like that doesn't it.I usually try to jolly them up and if that fails then the cuppa is out the window and I leave them to stew or it ends up me having the same face as theirs:frown::biggrin:

Moyra..It certainly is nippy, white over here and still struggling to get above zero. The sun is out and a lovely blue sky though so that's a bonus:blue thumb:

      Waves to Eve,AB,Zigs,Maria,Penny,Kandy,FC,Lili et al...

Enjoy this sunshine if you've got it,keep wrapped up and take care:SUNsmile:

I've been out twice this morning, already. Well, three times if you count me going out to start the car and leave it running whilst I had my porridge :heehee:

I then had to pump up a tyre that had gone flat but, fortunately, earlier on in the year I bought an electric pump. It plugs into the cigarette lighter and works pretty well.

I've got to go out for a third time this morning because my office chair has gone wrong. It's an executive (that's me! :heehee:) chair that pumps up, but it has started going down. At £200 a time I expect it to last longer than nine months. so had a word with the shop and they've got a new one waiting for me to pick up. :blue thumb: It's all posh leather and extremely comfortable - just right for my back. :)

I'll have to take it apart to get it out of my room and fit it in my car!

          Morning all

Beautiful sparkly frosty morning here. Had a lovely walk with the dogs across a farm track and back through the village. Still pulling quite a bit but today were less so, so fingers crossed they're learning. Everything is just so new and exciting for them and has to be explored at a hundred miles an hour :spinning:

I hate grumpy people around too Shiney. But at least he apologised.

Lovely tree, Woo. I don't put mine up till the weekend before Christmas. Will be interesting to see if it survives the manic munchkins :doggieshmooze: :heehee:. There won't be any choccy decs on it this year though as I just know they'd get chomped by them.

Good thoughts to everyone and hope it's a lovely sunny Saturday for all.

Seat taken in and replaced. I've put it together and now have to come to grips with getting the adjustments right. :phew:

I've got to give my back a rest so it's cuppa and TV for a while.

I've cooked the lunch for the students and washed up so have time to relax. :)

Shiney, I have a beautiful green leather swivel armchair but it seems to have lost its oomph. Its only a couple of years old, maybe three but there is no support for me because I cannot sit back in it I have to sit forward. I paid £560+ for it, think they saw me coming. So not sure I can actually warrant trading it in for a new comfortable chair yet. My problem is I am too short for it! Maybe in the new year I will treat myself if I can find a home for this one. I would love something like an armchair but is higher enough for my desk, think I am asking too much. Better to get a new desk!

Moyra, it's always difficult to find something that suits you.

My one was exchanged free of charge for exactly the same model. I've spent a lot of time trying to adjust it the same way as the other one. It has height, tilt and lumbar adjustments. I haven't quite got it right yet but it's pretty good.

I keep trying to adjust the functions underneath but it is so big and heavy, I do not seem to be able to adjust it to what I need. I thought when I bought it I was getting tantamount to an armchair that could be used as an office chair as it is similar to the chesterfields but hell no. As I say in the new year I must go to a chair manufacturers and try out different chairs to find what I need. Maybe I can get some of the money back I paid for this one, who knows? 5637723144_1467411gt5rohabtj_xlarge_xlarge.gif

                        Good morning Woo and all,

                        Nice to see you Spruce:dbgrtmb:

What a difference a day makes (We know a song about that) Yesterday an icy cold start and stayed that way all day this morning 8 degrees and a stiff warm breeze and a drop of rain:rolleyespink:

I was supposed to be cleaning yesterday but seemed to be getting no where fast and this lurgy was getting the better of me so gave up in the end:sick0026: I did manage to clean a grand total of 3 radiators, gripping stiff that was:rolleyespink: seemed to take forever trying to slot a cloth between all the gaps ,there's got to be more to life than this, shouldn't I be sat painting my nails and eating grapes:scratch::heehee:

Wishing everyone well, have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

                          Aloha everyone,

@Spruce Welcome to Wakey Wakey :blue thumb:. This is where we have our early morning chat before getting on with things. :)

Nope! You should be having your nails done for you and someone should be feeding the grapes to you. :heehee:

The frost has gone and according to the forecast the rain is on the way - until this afternoon when the sun and wind will bring cold frosty weather again.

Moyra, the heavy rain is expected to arrive by 9 a.m. but have cleared by noon. So you want to arrange your 'walkies' around that. :)

The students will arrive in an hour or so (I'm going to have to pick one up at the station) and then I'll start working on cooking the lunch. When all that's cleared I'll start prepping the dinner for our guests this evening. A woman's work is never done! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Keep well and have a great day

                          Aloha!
