We have dinner reservations at a local nice restaurant. that is our plan. I may do something special for Christmas Eve, all depends on my motivation, appreciation, work, and energy level.

We are having for a starter

Squid, scallops and king prawns in a nage butter sauce with pea puree I think (dads in charge of that)

Then for main we are having pork belly (which i will be responsible for), turkey crown, sausages in bacon, stuffing in bacon, paxo sage and onion stuffing, cauliflower and broccoli cheese, roast potatoes and roast veg, red cabbage, sprouts and leeks

Then for pudding we have a chocolate roulade, vanilla custard, birds custard, christmas pudding and what I'm looking forward to is the Raspberry & White Chocolate Macaroon http://www.abelandcole.co.uk/raspberry-white-chocolate-meringue-900g

we also have a christmas cake as well

Think it may be too much food for 5 people but oh well lol

I don't expect us to have anything. We're trying to arrange to be helping serve Christmas Dinner at a charity. :blue thumb:

Probably chicken or beef to be honest - I am only off for the one day, and nice as a turkey is, its a bit of a waste for just the three of us.

Chinese as we have done every year for about 20 years. Greetings with a 'champagne' drink. Starter is Peking Duck pancakes, main is 7 dishes and dessert is deep fried ice cream with rum. Price is 38 Euros for two. House wine is 10 Euros per bottle. There are six of us booked in.

There will only be three of us as my Mum doesn't want to travel anywhere.
Roast turkey crown although Mrs Strongy has completely gone off Turkey so hers will mainly be veg and she doesn't like my sausage meat stuffing either!!
Followed by home made Christmas pudding (without alcohol) and custard, no cream or sauces.
