        This evening another Winter warmer - Jota (Yota or Istrian stew) - Cabbage, beans, polenta and smoked sausage all cooked together - and to drink Grappa - That'll keep the cold out.

          cooking in the oven at the moment is smokded haddock in milk and good pinch of ground pepper , and having with mashed spud :wub2:

            Tonight was a jacket potato with finely grated cheese (scrummy comfort food) with a 'salad' of sprouting seeds and grated apple dressed with a generous helping of mayonnaise (sprinkled with paprika). Basic, but ... mmmm!!!!!

                  homemade Turkey veggie soup and BP&J sandwich.
                  While washing dishes the tonight night after dinner I dropped a colander.
                  I bent over to pick it up and strained myself.
