              Reminds me of a story my told me about when he used to do a fair bit of sea fishing. His mate caught a rather large conger eel one time, whacked it on the head to kill it, then tied it to the cross bar of his pushbike to take it home. Apparently it wasn't actually dead, and regained consciousness on the road home, wriggled violently, and caused my dad's mate to fall off his bike, and the bike was allegedly damaged (although that could be an embellishment).

                Back in the sixties my dad used to catch eels with a huge pair of mole grips. :)
