    Morning early people :)

Frozen outside, but still 8c in here :) Was glad of the spirit burner this morning as the gas was having any of it :phew:

Moyra, you have to finish the antibiotics for your own good, otherwise you could be left with a resistant strain of bacteria :yikes:

Hope you feel better soon :)

Have a good day everyone and don't be tempted to lick the frost on the greenhouse :nonofinger:

moyra, you shouldn't take too long to get another appointment. Phone the surgery three days before you know you will run out of the tablets. Tell them that the doctor said that he/she wanted to see you as soon as you had finished them.

I've been having a mixture of things to get me better. A nice warm house, a lot of sympathy from Mrs Shiney (with cuddles :)), an occasional concoction from Mrs Shiney (she changes it when she thinks my symptoms change) and I made a lot of 'Jewish Penicillin' :heehee:. I have my own recipe but there are loads of them on the net.

    Morning all

Damp raw feeling again here, but no rain

Still can't use my arm yet but there is spectacular bruising coming out from my elbow to my shoulder so hopefully that's it starting to heal now. Just annoyed with myself that I'd run out of arnica which usually speeds up the process.

Shiney, if you'd ever tasted my lovely Jewish mother-in-law's chicken soup you would not be calling it Jewish penicillin :heehee: Unless it's based on the principle of the worse the medicine tastes the better it is for you.

Moyra, hope you get your appointment soon, but please do finish the course of meds.

:fingers crossed: Loli that the building work is finished on Monday. Do you think it took longer because they were enjoying all the lovely food and cups of tea you provided and didn't want to move on to the next job :snork:

Sending good thoughts to everyone and hope you all have a lovely weekend

Shiney, I did phone 3 days before I finish the abs. I finish them tomorrow but I still didn't get anywhere. Who was it that put on their gravestone, 'I told them I was ill' ? Oh well cela' vie.
I hope everyone else is ok tonight, have a good evening all, Goodnight all, God bless.:wub2:

        Good morning everyone.

Moyra...Wouldn't you have thought they would have just given you an appointment , they would have know if they looked up your records and seen you only had three days of AB's left that they should have been an improvement by now if they suited you.First thing in the morning ring the surgery and pester them if you have to,I'm afraid sometimes it's the only way these days:blue thumb:

Woo..Hope all the Woo's are OK and ready for Christmas:dbgrtmb:

Shiney...Glad to see you are feeling better too:dbgrtmb: Chicken is good for getting you better whether you eat them or talk to them:biggrin::blue thumb::chicken:

We're trying to make a 'snagging' list but it's a bit difficult as we're actually searching for something a miss .There was a slight hitch a couple of days ago after the sub contracted plaster boarders had done the kitchen ceiling and had left all their stuff in the conservatory which was in the way of the builders. It did look like a dumping ground but before I even had a chance to say a word the boss had come on site to see his men and I was ear wigging...Cor blimey he went through them like a dose of salts:old: problem solved tout suite :dbgrtmb:.:phew:

Eve..your should and arm has really taken a right bashing hasn't it:grphg: it must have been so painful:ouch1: I hope it's feeling easier now:dbgrtmb:
Re the builders, they did say they could have done the job in 4 days but they were enjoying themselves:biggrin:

Do you know I actually had to have help getting out of bed this morning:old: my neck went 'funny' a couple of days ago ,it wasn't too bad but I couldn't even sit up without holding my head steady this morning:rolleyespink: I've limbered up a bit now so it's not too bad now:thumbsup:

Annyway enough of my waffle:phew::heehee: I'm off to work shortly:pathd:

Have a great day everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

          Aloha everyone,

Loli, try draping a chicken round your neck. :blue thumb: :) Wish you better :grphg:

moyra, I agree with Loli. you need to pester them and insist on seeing the doctor. I never let our surgery's receptionists decide when I see the doctor. I tell them!

We were going to do some charity work Christmas Day but they have enough volunteers. So we shall be doing it New Year's Eve instead. :dbgrtmb: (I've copied this next bit from what I put on another thread as it saves typing :heehee:) We'll be at a drop in centre for the homeless and disadvantaged and our shift will be cooking dinner for them, clearing up, washing up, cleaning showers etc. We'll also sit and chat with them if they want someone to talk to.
We should be home for midnight as the night shift will be taking over (my back's not up to preparing beds and bedding).

It's not been a good night for me . My cold and chest are a lot better and my foot isn't too bad. Unfortunately, when my nose has started to suddenly drip it has been bleeding as well . So I'm wearing a bib just in case I don't catch it in time :rolleyespink: :heehee:. That's not too bad but I also got bad cramp in my calf during the night. Which means I'll be hobbling around in pain for a few days.

I can't sit for long as it cramps up again but whilst I'm sitting here I have my leg stretched out on top of the paper shredder (just the right height) with me pressing down on my knee to stretch the muscle. The best exercise to ease it up is walking backwards. This stretches the calf muscles even more (although my body doesn't have much in the way of muscles! :roflol:).

I would go out for a walk to try and ease it more but it's so frosty that it looks as though its been snowing. The frost didn't disappear at all yesterday even though it was sunny.:hate-shocked:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

              Good morning dear friends,

Only two more antibiotics to go and still the pains in my chest and back under my shoulder blades remain. I shall have to get onto the docs in the morning.
Shiney, Loli, WOO and Eve hope you are all feeling better today!
Zigs, hope you are still continuing to keep warm, it sure is a cold one out there today.

Have a good day everyone, stay safe, warm and dry and above all get and keep well. God bless. :wub2:
