-1.5 inside my greenhouse last night, and that's with bubble wrap as well. So don't know what it was outside. Other than a a thick frost this morning... I need to move a 2yr old apple tree, but it still has green leaves on. When should I move it???. What's the weather where you are... I am at St Marys Bay, Romney marsh, Kent be nice to see the weather reports all over

    Hi
You can move the apple tree now, with the frost we have had I am surprised it still has leaves on.

Once planted mulch around the bottom of the tree to protect the roots if we have a bad winter and hopefully you are using a stake to keep it secure in the soil and stopping it from getting wind rock which will damage the roots

also with your greenhouse if plants are kept dry they will survive better even when the temperature drops , ie geraniums etc

they are not growing this time of year , so require very little, sit pots on newspaper this will help draw it out if needed.

I had my hardest frost this season so far, this morning.
It bottomed out at about -3C but was rising already at first light due to the wind picking up, so I dont think it was that low for very long.
