    Hello @Lolimac :)
I don't feel as fit as I did straight after the procedure/op, but I am not suffering symptoms as much now :) if that makes any sense :heehee: (although I did feel a bad sensation today).
I washed and polished the car recently, and suffered badly for about 3 days after. I really did feel like I had been hit by a bus! (obviously used muscles I rarely use).
I was sent to work in Head office this week, so I may be a little stressed from that, and my boss (at my usual work place), had a go at me over something silly. I sometimes wonder why I bother to help them out
Head office was really pleased with my work though :)

Just a quick update for anyone interested.
My latest angiogram was a bit of a disaster . As you can see, the surgeon made numerous attempts to find the artery, but with no luck.

            web wrist.jpg

This caused me a fair bit of distress, (the numbing cream had been put on the right side of my wrist). I developed a big lump on my wrist with lots of pain.
The surgeon said he would have to go in through my thigh. During recovery, I ended up with a bleed, and a big hematoma around the angio seal plug.
I was quickly surrounded by pretty nurses, and hooked up to machinery, and then strapped into a femostop. Good work by the nurses as always :)
I now have a big dark purple rectangle across my thigh and groin (about 9" by 6"). I won't post a pic of that though :snork:.
The good news now......all checked out ok :blue thumb:, and I am down to 11st 1

I tried to count the puncture marks, but gave up. You can click on the thumbnail for a bigger image, for those who don't know already :)

So sorry you went through this, it's totally unnecessary. I sell medical equipment for a living and in a few months time we will be co-promoting an ultra sound with needle guidance with eliminates all of this "fishing about in your flesh" business. It is available now but thanks to the complete mismanagement of the NHS budget, your unit probably couldn't afford it.

Thanks @**Yvonne** . That equipment sounds like a great idea! It really does hurt when they are stabbing about.

After a bit of a false start I'm glad to hear, apart from the bruising that the result was good NG. That's a weight off your mind no doubt! You've done well with your weight too. :dbgrtmb:

Yvonne, that's also good news! I have to have regular blood tests and veins are nigh on impossible to find. There's every chance we might see this machine appear here at our hospital.
