Thanks @Kandy . It was private, but done at NGH because they had the equipment, which is 'really' expensive they said.

I was just laughing at a pun by @Adendoll in another thread. That didn't do my groin any favours. Nor does coffin and sneezing . I have to put pressure on it.

Well, CL may have escaped A&E, but I have just been told to get my backside down there! Bruising from groin to my knee (zig zag) may be one thing, but my calf is aching, which may suggest a blood clot (plus I am diabetic). I am getting fed up with all of this.

                        Thanks everyone :)
Well that was pretty quick, and I am back home. :yay:
There was a few intakes of breath during the viewings. They gave me straight to the A&E doctor. Apparently they have like a GP there too.
She said I have lost about 1/2 litre of blood into my thigh. The ward sister I spoke to did the right thing by being careful and sending me there, but there is no clot thankfully :hapfeet:
I have to keep active, but rest too (leg raised and body reclined). Work is a no no, it could take weeks to heal. She suggested I get a sick note from my doctor to cover the days I am due to work over Christmas.
I am pretty fed up with all of this now, but at least I am home over Christmas. I feel for those who aren't. It would be so nice to do something for those poor unfortunate ones.
