    Hi people,

    Newbie here.

From the photo, has anyone any idea what type of weed this is please?

It seems to really like one border in my recently cleared border. I have quite a heavyish clay soil which I have been improving.

    The weed seems quite vigorous!!

I hope somebody recognises it so I can plan a way of eradicating it!

    Thank you

I really like them, had a few this year I direct sowed. Most are yellow/orange but a few were cream.

At least they're easy to pull out, unlike wood aven! :-)

Yes they are at least! Will I need to get the lot out as they are self seeding?

The ones growing will not set seed unless you let them flower, but there will be viable seeds in the soil from previous years, so you will have a few pop up regardless. Just keep pulling them up and they'll gradually diminish.
