Whoops!! That's going to be a problem. Education authorities don't usually have fire insurance. They say it's cheaper not to pay for insurance for all the schools and cover the repairs themselves.

We sent a package off to someone and the stamps made it look quite festive.

Mrs Shiney is having a clear out of all the old sheets of stamps that she used to collect. She has loads of them :rolleyespink: of all different denominations - even some in old pence! :)

Went for a Boxing Day walk around some of my childhood haunts yesterday.

A frosty morning with a pale winter sun trying to break through made for some interesting shots. :)

These first two shots were taken in Mooragh Park, Ramsey.

The peaks in Scotland just visible. The five dots at the base of the mountains to the right I couldn't see with the naked eye. They are five people in a boat!

And finally, Snaefell Mountain. I took this from nine miles away and didn't see the para-glider to the right until the picture was on my computer screen.

Thank you Jenny. :) On a good, clear day looking from Snaefell we can see Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England. At sea level from time to time I've been able to see the beaches in Scotland quite clearly.
