Didn't get anything apart from some second hand GW mags this year.

Sounds interesting, please keep us updated.

Other than loads of reduced to 10p items my daughter's been buying for me at her local Wilkos whilst away at Uni, the only gardening related item this year was an outdoor extension lead, normally over £40, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B004R255VQ/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new but if you set up a 3 camels watch they regularly get reduced to £13.99.

A pruning knife and a bag of 100 of the plastic things that go on the end of bamboo canes to stop you poking your eye out. The knife was something I had asked for but the cane things were a nice surprise.

A few years ago when I used to grow show onions under a Heath Robinson lighting set up, a place in Leeds were advertising grow tents etc. So I called in for a look. What a strange lot the other customers were. Most of them were spending lots of money on equipment so that they could grow weeds. :nonofinger: My quip about weeds growing without any help nearly got me thrown out of the shop.
