If you're into retro, then portability isn't an issue!

... you keep your knees together and put them sideways and not bend over and show your knickers ...
Thinking of the Scottish man in a kilt

Scottish men don't wear them, or do they..... ??

Nah, no need for under-crackers when you are in a kilt! Unless of course its a hired one, in which case one must of course wear underwear.

I recall going to a wedding with a female friend once, in an old castle that had been converted into a hotel - in the main building was the main dancefloor with a small bar at one end, and a larger bar up on a mezzanine floor which was accessed via an open plan staircase. My friend was insistent that we were having the table under the stairs "because its near yon big doors so we get fresh air - you know how stuffy it gets at these things........."

Was it hell as like - everytime a bloke in a kilt went up the stairs she was craning her neck to look up.......... wee minx

Here's something for all you retro lovers.

I take a flask of coffee to work every day and from time to time they get dropped or simply give up, so I've got through several over the years.

Every time this happens, as it did today, I delve into the back of the kitchen cupboard and out comes 'old faithful'. This is a flask which my mum must have bought from Woolworth's some time in the 60s, as I remember it being used on many family picnics when I was a boy. :old:

It's still going strong and I swear it keeps drinks hotter, for longer, than anything you can buy nowadays. They don't make 'em like this any more. :coffee:

What has always puzzled me about flasks is that they can keep hot things hot and cold things cold. How does it know what to do? ;) :hate-shocked: :loll:
