GC's New Years Eve 'Get-together'

What a night, fireworks at most of my neighbors houses. Joined in some parties along the way. Happy New Years all. Now it is 7:25AM on January 1, 2015. A new year indeed to start new memories, continue festering about the old ones, new adventures, and certainly new loves. Many blessings to all.

 

I seem to remember 11.45, next time I looked at the clock it was 12.15am.

Not sure what happened, but I think I missed it.

 

already an improvement here. the toilet in the new bathroom works. no more outhouse traveling . YEAH

 

Well that didn't work. For the first time ever I didn't bother with a spirit for the toast. Just had wine and beer and home made sangria instead. It was to avoid feeling grotty as hell on new years day. I still feel grotty.

Happy New Year everyone Did the reveillon du St Sylvestre with friends 100kms south and drove back in freezing fog this afternoon Just a light snack of oysters, scampi, salmon, goose, cheese and choux buns washed down with 2 litres of champagne (where's the 'burp' smiley?) That's the high living over for this year.....back to free-range eggs and gruel now Here's to an excellent 2015 for us all

Well, it's now THIS YEAR I am having a second new knee! Next Wednesday as a matter of fact.

I'm keeping myself busy cleaning and tidying the house and what not! Already got 10 turkey and leek pies in the freezer, a few cottage pies to joint them tomorrow. At least I won't starve!
