    Just done the big shop at Asda today , filled up at the pumps ..... 107.7 per litre :dbgrtmb: While I am sat on the gridlocked M6 every morning next week , I can work out how much I am saving . Do we think it will make 99.9 per litre by February 1 ?

      Dont think its that cheap around here, but to be honest I never really take in the price, I keep the tank topped up once a week and it costs what it costs, but I have noticed its less now than it was a few months ago.:smile:

      We filled up my car when it was 1.09 the day before January 1st,then got home and the news said that the next day it would be dropping by two pence to £1.07:gaah::wallbanging:

      For us, Morrisons and Tescos are over the road from each other, so when I come to a roundabout, I turn left for Morrisons and right for Tescos, having had time to see their prices before I have to choose.

      Tesco: 109.9
      Morrisons: 110.9

      So I went to Tescos. Everyone else had too. I didn't even wait in the queue I just swung the car around and went to Morrisons over the road. As I pulled onto the their forecourt the price board changed, 108.9.

      Price war? Bring it on.
