Not sure if there is an Astronomy section but if there is I can't find it,but just thought I would mention that we have just been standing out in our back garden having a look at Comet Lovejoy:yes:.It might just be a fuzzy snowball and we only saw it through binoculars but it was still awesome to see and glad we saw it before it departs on its long journey across space:cool:

Find Orion's Belt.Go right from the bottom star in his belt past Rigle(sp Mr Kandy says he thinks that is how it is spelt:snork:)and then a little bit more to the right and you should be able to pick it out as a fuzzy snowball with Binos. It was named after someone called Lovejoy last year but can't think of his first name:snork: If you look on the Astronomynow.com site I think it is called there is a map of the stars and it shows the track of the comet over the coming days.I think tomorrow night is supposed to be better as it will be a lot nearer to earth:cool:

We had a good view of it again last night when we walked back from the shop and decided on looking up to the sky by our duck pond and got views of it with the naked eye(wonder where that saying came from:snork:)and with Binos. It has moved since last week but still showing well:smile:
