Bargain Poundland raspberries

I've bought a couple labelled as Malling Promise. From what I've just read on the interwebs they've had them in before. They may not be labelled correctly but are said to be well worth their price. Obviously check the quality of the stock you're buying as they don't water them once instore and some of their stuff seems to come pre-deceased.

Also bought myself a couple of small leaved hollies for a gap in the front.

Can't think of any underlying raspberry disease they could be carrying, but I bet someone will come up with something like the Welsh 12 spot rasberry stink worm.

Had a lovely Blackcurrant bush from Woolies, back in the day for £1.99

Haha Zigs, I can't afford the dentist either. The solution was to buy my plants from Poundland, do my own haircuts and fork out for a private dental plan with the money saved. Gaps in both my garden and teeth are both nicely filled.

 

sorry to moan but I personally think with fruit be it trees or bushes pay cheap pay twice and as you said they dont water them.
