Does some of the Packaging we get now on food products do your head in ?.
Example this Morning @ 7 am I opened the Easy Self Seal Cheese Packaging on a slab of cheese. 'Instructions, Just Tear Here And Re- Seal' .
I cut the cheese required and placed it onto the bread in the grill to make toasted cheese.:dbgrtmb:.

I then proceeded to re-seal the package, not so easy,it sealed at one side but not the other side.
By the time I got the Easy Seal Sealed my Toasted Cheese was burnt and smoking, then the smoke detectors went off ,waking my neighbours .

To make matters worse, the Wife came downstairs, picked up the cheese, opened it, re-sealed
it in @ 10 seconds, banged it on the kitchen unit and says::.

"You See, Women are better at these things than Men!", then she goes back to bed...

I felt like Frank Spencer in Some Mothers Do 'Ave' Em.:scratch:.

Try putting the ready sliced cheese under the grill with the transparent plastic separator bits still on it, it sets the smoke detectors off far quicker and gives you that extra petroleum boost to start the day :)

Yeah, packaging, can do your head in. It's like those blister-packs that some small electrical goods come in. They should use them to secure the contents of Fort Knox!

Corned beef tins! You would think, after all these years, they would find a better way of opening them than that silly wind-around-with-key effort ... I still have occasion when I cut my finger trying to separate the can from the block of corned beef

Of all the packaging available to humankind, they still put Garlic salt and Andrews liver salt in packaging that isn't airtight :doh:

One thing's for sure, you certainly wont be airtight once you've taken Andrews

Talking of blister packs....are pill packs getting tougher, or is it me getting weaker? Getting the corner ones out after using the rest is a nightmare, so I push those out first working my way to the centre from both ends, sussed! Should it really be this complicated?

"M" turn it upside down and use a can opener. :)

Bought two things a few months ago, they measured 4"x 1"x 1" , they turned up in a cardbourd box measuring 15"x15"x3" then they only sent one, so rang up and asked for the other one and said about the box it came in, they sent the other one free but in a box nearly as bad as the last one :wallbanging::dunno:

Agree with all of these. The worst one I have come across though is a can of Jeyes fluid, I had to break the top in the end to open it.!!!

Don't know what they have done to Jeyes Fluid but the new can of the stuff doesn't have the distinct Jeyes Fluid smell that my last tin had and I for one don't like it:frown::snork:

We had to buy a new Tumble Drier over the Xmas break because our 13 year old one packed up the week before Xmas.Curry's Know How delivered it New Years Eve and we had to put it in position, plus unpack it,then had to take the polystyrene and plastic to the tip because there was so much of it we couldn't get it into the recycling bin.We had also taken the old one to the tip before Xmas.It wasn't until I went on to their site and read the info about delivery that the delivery men should have unpacked the drier, put it into position and then took the packaging away with them:mad:

                              Kids toys drive me mad!
Toys are now encased in sealed plastic or they are twist tied and even screwed in packaging.
It's come to something when Santa needs to leave screwdrivers, scissors and Allen keys along with presents!
