            A grey and windy start to the day which is now building into something nasty. Rain appeared mid afternoon and the wind is now picking up to severe gale. Bad tonight and worse tomorrow with storm force promised. The island is on red alert, something that doesn't happen that often despite the bad weather we get here during the winter months. 4C

                        There was a dusting of snow on the ground this morning and also bright blue skies but it was really cold as well. The skies gradually fogged over with a increasing veil of thin grey cloud which got thicker and thicker throughout the afternoon until the Sun had disappeared. The winds have now picked up and got stronger and starting to gust. The temperature is 42f , which is an increase of 10f from last night, and the pressure reading is 1013mb:coffee::snork:
