Very lucky to live here, as we have great views, Wales is our back garden, two major cities (one historical) within 15 miles, great countryside, decent-ish climate, and beaches. Can't take this for granted.

    Anyway here are the photos.

True true.. both great cities with completely different characters.

It's Heswall (my home town), though Thurstaston can boast just as good views of course.

        Look great
Any chance of some photos of Meols and Hoylake , I have said before but I spent so many Saturdays and Sunday visiting my Aunt Uncle and cousin, beaches just went on and on....
They had a wood called "Monkey Woods" maybe just a nick name ?

I think Daniel Craig James Bond was born in Wirral

We love the Wirral, with the views to N Wales and villages (and of course Heswall!), we will be up there again next month.

I don't go there very often but I will get some when I get the chance. It's quite bleak I find around that way (Meols/Hoylake), Not familiar with the woods but I imagine that's around Hoylake.. I'll have a look. The beaches are pretty much none stop from Heswall, West Kirby, Meols, Moreton, Leasowe to New Brighton then round the other side to Eastham .. about 35 miles of none stop beaches.

I believe he was, not sure where about though.

Strongylodon.. let me know when you're around these parts!

Yet another part of UK unknown to me . Looks very special Stephen. Thank you for sharing this today; it takes one's mind off this dreadful inclement weather,
