        Out for a stroll it was bitterly cold in the strong north wind but it was a beautiful sunny day, 4C.

          Even though the sky was still a dull grey and 4pm ( when the radio2 pips went ) I thought it was 3pm! So, the afternoons are staying lighter longer and I'm really looking forward to a clear sky and a sunset,

            I just knew someone would pick up on that,and it had to be you:lunapic 130165696578242 5:let me explain my comments in intricate detail just for you,we have our own time zone here in North Kent we are 32 minutes ahead of GC time so in actual fact it was 5 pm North Kent time or the GC time is 32 minutes behind North Kent's time zone;):heehee:

              The strong jet stream caused a BA flight from New York to London to complete in 5 hours and 16 minutes this week - nearly went supersonic. Normal journey time is nearly 7 hours.

                    Yesterday morning was freezing cold and with freezing fog until around noon. The dire warnings from the Met Office about last night and this morning going to be the coldest for two years with up to -7C in West Cheshire and with heavy ground frost.:hate-shocked: So when I woke up this morning there was no ground frost and the temperature was 34f but it had dipped down to -2C in the early hours. So it looks like that in my area we had it fairly mild. Right now the temperature is 33f and the pressure reading is 1034mb, with a forecast of similar weather for the next few days.:dunno::coffee:
