I got great big 400g packs of leaf seeds (lettuce, chard, spinach, chard) for 49p, reduced from £1.49 last time I was there. (can't buy a single lettuce for that).

Bought 3 0f those at that price.

What about the Rainbow Superstore in Lyme Regis?

That's a point :yikes: Guess they're part of the same chain. Was in there a few weeks back.

It'll be a shame if they were to also go, they were a feature of every holiday we took down that way since our daughter was around three years old, right up to April last year. I'm still using a wallet she bought for me from there many years ago, although it hasn't seen much wear and tear.

Might have a look if they're still open in March if we're down that way in our first foray of the year, but at the moment it's a toss up between Dorset or watching the Severn Bore/going on to West Somerset.

As mentioned above, visits to that store were included in al our holidays down that way as we'd call in on the way back from visits to The Donkey Sanctuary, check out the end of day bargains in the Co-op and use their free car parking to nip across the road and browse in the Rainbow Superstore, occasionally getting a fish and chips from around the corner as a rare treat, because the chippy in Charmouth used to have absolutely useless service.

They were talking about April for the end in the shop.

You seen the new Girt Tesco's in Seaton? It's Girt :thud:

Chippy is now a Stake house, remember seeing the girl in there get a pickled egg out with the tongs and squeezing it a little 2 hard, the yoke shot out and hit the customer in the eye :heehee:

You mind that Seven Boar don't bite you :yikes:

Been there a few times, always seemed very under used, car park half empty.

Might give it a miss then.
