        meal deal from M&S , if it wasnt for the bottle of wine and the key lime pie it would of been orrid , manky pasta bake with lots of veg, no sauce and oooohhhggg, croutons I thought would break a tooth !!!! , thats the last time I will be getting that !!!

            it will be a fish in sauce (the boil in the bag kind) and a steam bag of veg. Im starting back fasting today :-)

              sausage meat and onion rissoles, baked beans and Boxing Day bubble and squeak

                Pork belly flank marinaded (water, rice wine vinegar, star annise, garlic, black treacle, tomatoe puree, palm sugar, smoked paprika and chilli powder) overnight and then slow cooked in the marinade on the wood burner for three hours or so. Simmered the marinade with chopped red pepper, bamboo shoots and onion segments whilst the rice was cooking, pulled the pork and added it to the marinade.
                Sounds like a lot of pfaffing about but it is actually quite quick to prepare.

                  Plain boiled rice - no messing!
                  I should write quantities down but I just go by smell/taste.
