You're not getting rid of it that easily! :heehee: Without a passport I couldn't charge you for a visa. :nonofinger:

It was my grandfather who was born pre 1865. I was just reading the family tree and two of my uncles (2 of 10) were dishonourably discharged pre WWI for going to a party instead of staying on guard duty! :roflol: One of them went on to get the Military Medal plus Bar during the war.

The other also signed up, got shot, wasn't discharged but went on to be an expert at procurement of 'unobtainable' items for his regiment. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! He changed his name when he left the army and became a 'respectable' member of the salesman fraternity. 'You want it, I'll sell it.' Actually, he sold it to you even if you didn't want it! :heehee:

Maybe your ancestors knew my ancestors, Shiney, as some of them are listed as "Landed Gentry" while some others are listed as "Sheep Stealers"............and I know which side of the family I take after!!

I only worked there for a short time but had a stall down Roman Road for about four years. :blue thumb:

                    Do you know the market?

I had my greengrocery stall outside Crego's the shoe shop (opposite the school) and also worked on the record stall opposite Libra road and opposite the chippy. :blue thumb:

Shiny I don't know it that well, but know Crego's I think. It was the other bit of my family that were stall holders for years. Was a fantastic place, great atmosphere and a lot of good humour.
