Watched Any Good Films Lately?

Watched a movie called Flight (2012)..About a damaged passenger plane,an airline pilot is praised for the feat..

 

Purged anarchy, really good but worrying film

 

Now for something completely different - Locke. It has only one actor on screen throughout, is filmed almost entirely in his cars cabin and the storyline is told through the phone calls that he makes/takes during a 90 minute car journey..................


One of the best films in many a year
Available on Netflix.

 

Reminiscent of the film "Duel" with Dennis Weaver.

 

Except that there is no action.
I watched it at about 3.30 this morning (couldn't sleep) and have just sat there with Sue and watched it again. She loved it too!

 

Saw a good movie earlier on. Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage War, on ch5. Basically, it's about this woman (Mrs Caldicot - Pauline Collins) whose domineering husband dies, and her son has her put in a home, so that he can secure the family home. Definitely worth a watch, and a warning to us all, don't trust your kids!

 

It has good reviews on Amazon, I am going to get the DVD, cheers for this!

 

Just checked the reviews on RottenTomatoes and it is rated as high as I've seen.

I just watched episode one - really good. That said, Stephen Poliakoffs work is always good.

 

I watched part one of Shoah over the weekend very very harrowing but a necessary experience

 

It just gets better and more intriguing - and the photo collection is amazing .Keep watching,
