Don't need to bring your flask, I've got loads of home made chicken soup available. :blue thumb: Thermals are definitely needed. :)

Just one rule, don't spend too much time playing with our pheasants! :heehee:

Another 3 inches of the fluffy white landed. Maybe I will make a snow man. And then spray it with blue or green food coloring. Maybe pink would be better or both.

Just been outside for a wander. The snowdrops look nice - just wish I had a bit more direct sunshine this time of year. Lots more bulbs are up in their containers. Had a look at the Foxglove Silver Cub. They flowered from an early sowing last year and are still flowering.

I just went out to fill up the bird feeders. Too cold and too much snow around to do anything else.

Spent yesterday shifting LOADS of top soil, had a tonne delivered and it was nowhere near enough. Fortunately, a neighbour had dug a load out to lay a patio so got more from him, must have moved 4/5 tonnes by wheel barrow. Still need another tonne I think.

Today, I covered the top soil to prevent the dogs "playing" in it. Also got the angle grinder out and cut out the rest of the circle, if the weather is ok tomorrow, I should finish that circle.

As a non-DIY person I've always wondered how you can use an angle grinder to make a circle. Surely it's there for making angles!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Good morning to day I am going to dig over a border so that the frost can break it down, divide some more Japanese Anemones ,empty and refill about a dozen large terracotta pots and then when it gets light I shall have some breakfast:heehee:

I'm not doing anything. Just been outside to right some pots that the wind had blown over. The wind is biting here by the river and I felt a few spots of rain. I don't enjoy gardening if I'm frozen. I'm a fair weather gardener. :snork:
