Good morning folks and a very Happy Valentines Day to you all - if you can't be with the one you love - love the one you're with! Very wet here, much to Baldricks delight as the gardens is now a mud bath, but has stopped me in my tracks for the things I wanted to do out there today.
Moira, so sorry to hear you are still suffering - really important to read up before taking meds, I was told off big time by my Psychiatric Consultant when I asked him a question about my meds for depression and he asked if I had read the leaflet that came with them. Of course I hadn't. He then went into head teacher mode and said "I can't believe you would ingest a mind and potentially life altering, strong medication without reading up on side effects - you have one body and one life - why would you do that?" I was angry and embarrassed at the time, but on reflection he was right. So I make sure I do every time now! Hope you feel better later x x x

Was a nice bright start to the morning but rain is threatening now which is a pain as I had hoped to get stuck into clearing up in the garden. We had quite a wet and windy night and there's a load of branches and twigs and leaves (where have they come from, none of the trees have leaves ) all over the place. Or perhaps I'll just copy Lynda and dance in the rain

There's a rumour we could get a bit of sunshine in these parts today I really hope so,I didn't get half and a quarter done what I wanted to yesterday as the cloud turned to that 'orrible mizzle that soaks you through...a nice bit of sunshine,just a bit,I'm not asking for much,it just gives me that bit of a shuv to get on better..

Morning folks - hope we all had a good night? Not too bad here after all the rain yesterday and Friday. I found 2 pots of Anemones I had planted up and forgotten about this morning. They were under the sink and stretching for the light and are all about 10 inches tall! I guess I will lose most of them :0( Sunday is mega doggy walk day here - my friend Debbie and I take 3 dogs (our 2 plus one other) fir a huge walk and have a girlie natter along the way. I look forward to it. Then friends coming later, so not sure how much, if any, gardening stuff will be done today! Hope all of you have a really lovely day x x x

I'm really sad. A car ran over a grey cat in our street today. As far as I know, we own the only pure grey cat and it was outside our house it happened. To give the lady her due, apparently she did stop but the cat ran off. And our Misti hasn't come home. So I'm as sure as I can be it's our fur baby. I've phoned vets, put up posters, posted on Twitter, knocked at neighbours doors and walked the streets but sadly nothing. I guess it's a waiting game now. I'm gutted. Really, really gutted.

 

let's hope that is not the case finger crossed

Awww Lynda,I'm so sorry....I don't want to build your hopes up and say maybe she's just injured and someone will find her and get her to a vet and the 'other' doesn't bear thinking about....would she normally come home if you called for her?
