Loli, ironically I gave up smoking six weeks ago and I used to smoke outside, if I'd been out there I would have seen them, even at that time of the morning! :doh:I've seen them once before in Scotland but I was only about nine years old then.

I do have windows "M" but the curtains are drawn at night and I'm not a 'twitcher'. :heehee: None of my windows face in that direction either.

Starting building my greenhouse today, got to remove the small poly tunnel first, and level the ground. Good thing it isn't raining, has there would be no chance Mrs T would help me.

Sounds like you've got a busy few days Ian Taylor! But will be worth it once it's all done :dbgrtmb:. I hope the weather stays dry for you & Mrs T brings you plenty of cups of tea! :)

One of my best 'doh' moments: just plucked out lots of weed seedlings from a pot out front only to have vague recollection of sprinkling my spare Astrantia seeds there :( such a doofus.

I dug over a flower bed ready for seeds yesterday, before I remembered I'd planted at least 20 tulips there in November! I just threw the earth back and hope they don't notice, lol x

I suppose I am cheating a bit as I didn't do the following jobs myself, but they were done in my garden so I hope that counts :) My son and my friend came over today and bagged up a lot of clods, grass and mud, stones and soil that were in a big heap at the bottom of the garden - I tried to shift it myself but it was impossible. Then they cut down next doors conifer tree that was blocking loads of light from my garden (with my lovely neighbours permission of course) I did play a little joke on them though and told them I had lied when I told them I had permission and the neighbours were back and furious at the damage :roflol::roflol::roflol:

A huge bin of rubble has been disposed of, as has the bin. Bless those boys. I can really steam ahead now. Just waiting for the warmer weather and it's all systems go out there

LyndaG, how fantastic the 'boys' getting all those jobs done :hapydancsmil:. Your garden will benefit from all the extra light, it's amazing how much light conifers block out.
Roll on the warmer weather do you can crack on :hapfeet:
