    Hi All

I am glad I found this forum, I wanted one from the UK as I believe those here might know more of my situation and weather than those in far off lands.

I live in a mobile home in NE Scotland, about 1 mile north of a small village called St Cyrus. I dont grow much here as the ground and weather is not too suitable. I have 23 Heathers, all grown in pots, 3 Roses, and 8 Rhododendrons/Azaleas. I am hoping I can get some help to growing these plants more successfully.

I live here on my own but have many friends visit and also have my Dachshund, Frankie and 2 Senegal Parrots, Nacho and Roxy.

    Cheers

    Nigel

Thanks for the welcomes. In a way I feel a bit guilty cos I dont know too much and can see myself asking questions often. Thats fine I guess but I would also like to put something back in and on the gardening side I wont be too good at that because of my lack of knowledge.

I can though perhaps help if there are any computer related problems or some photographic advice.

I have a few things to do here first and later on this morning I will have a good look around the site.

            Catch ya laters

            Nigel

Welcome Nigel. I live in salsburgh half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will enjoy this site. I love heather and one has died so will be grateful for any tips. I've moved some heather that's also turning brown

Sure Lynda, I have some good photos of Frankie and will post them by the weekend. But, a word of warning, I am not normal and can be a little crazy at times. :snork:. I will give a clue... Frankie likes dressing up. :loll:

Never feel guilty about asking questions and feeling like you have nothing to give back - I was all questions and confusion when I joined too. Only recently have I felt confident enough to answer questions too - and that's because it is amazing just how quickly you learn new things and by trying new things your knowledge soon expands :blue thumb:

Aha! Computers and photography, eh? Those subjects are quite active on here too (to one degree or another).

Grab a cuppa, pull up a chair and .... dive in! :)

Good for you Nigel, I think you and me will get along just fine :roflol::roflol::roflol: I have an Italian Spinone who also dresses up, mainly Easter, Halloween and Xmas but anytime it takes my fancy really. I have never seen a sausage dog dressed up - I can't wait! Have a good evening x
