Should anybody feel the inclination to send a valentines card next year, but not sure who to send it too, I shall publicly post my address on 12 February next year - I'll even pay for the stamps........

 

Also, if you feel the inclination to receive a "happy Xmas to my brother" card, again, I will not disappoint........

Well there are several reasons to be honest

1) im not a lovely dovey person and not that keen on dispays of affection and stuff

2) its a commercialised day these days and i hate the whole thing to be honest. Some men feel like they have to do stuff on valentines day just because its valentines day and i think thats just wrong and also if you feel you have to do it you dont actually want to do it or mean it.

3)its kind of well awkward if you are not that keen on the guy or have no interest in the guy at all. Proper cringe and i dont want to have to deal with that

4) this is probably the main reason. I dont cope well with guys that come on strong or appear too keen or too interested. It freaks me out and makes me want to run a mile. I personaly prefer to do the chasing so to speak. I dont want to be chased. I would prefer a guy who is laid back and chilled and more of a challenge if im honest. If a guy is too keen i tend to feel slightly pressured and therefore just kinda run lol

5) cant stand all the hearts and roses and red and pink everywhere. Bleh!

 

I would like to make an observation on point 3.

It is sometimes the case that A is interested in B 20%, but B is interested 80%.
Sometimes A is interested in B 55% but B is interested in A 45% and so on and so forth...
It is a 2 - way thing and, to me: I wouldn't chop his head off (in a figurative sense) just yet...

But i should point out im overly picky and just dont like having to say to someone im sorry im not interested because i dont want to hurt their feelings

Number three is more about not wanting to turn someone down as i never want to hurt anyones feelings but i would never lead anyone in because i thinks that worse

I would just rather not be put in a position where i have to say it.
