Not one of my favourites I'm afraid. However, The Shawshank Redemption is and that is also a film adaptation of a Stephen King story.

A quote on another thread reminded me of a film I really enjoyed. Not much of a story but just straightforward fun. The Court Jester with Danny Kaye. I remember seeing it at the Gaumont N16 about 58 years ago :old: :heehee:

For me it does :blue thumb: :heehee: but I think I may have seen a couple of films since then. Although I can only remember having seen one film, 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'.

We saw a good film Saturday evening with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves called The Lake House and it was a nice love story although it had us in tears near the end of the film:biggrin:

Tried to watch Top Gun on TV last night. Pretty awful film.

Shouldn't have watched Hot Shots first in hindsight.

@Jungle Jane Top Gun was just a vehicle for Tom Cruise.

Have you seen Hot Shots part deux, just as funny.

I had to go to the cinema to watch it with a girl and even she thought that it was so bad that a fumble in the dark was a better plan!:roflol:
