Glass art..... I came across one of these designs on a jigsaw puzzle. It's called Chihuly

I like that Jenny! The design reminds me of a poppy seed pod.

 

My stool made from a bit of ash donated to me by the Essex Wildlife Trust from a nearby wood. The legs I turned on my lathe and then socketed into the seat. Was going to carve the seat but don't think I will bother. Almost finished just needs the feet levelling and smoothing down before finishing.

Yeah I was going to take it down to the plot and leave it outside my shed but I'm concerned it may get nicked now.

I could do with a stool for my new workbench that just arrived Monday. Got it second hand off of eBay for £20 plus the massive vice in the corner of the photo. Turned out it originated from a Blind man's hostel in London in the 1940's. Am going to give it a good sand down in the summer when it stops raining.

 

Can you pop the stool back in the shed when you leave ?

 

I could do, but it weighs a ton.
