Hi dips: I can imagine how proud you are of the business you have created so far. Can I ask...is there a certain point when the purchases (or views) went up and you really felt like "you made it"? Etsy looks really exciting, a cake ready to be eaten, but: how easy do customers find you? I join the others in saying that I would appreciate the link to the shop. Thanks!

And @Java&Me I guess views really picked up about august/september. You def get more views the more items you have in your shop. The magic number on the etsy forums is a minimum of 100 and they all say when they got to there their shop views doubled. Its also key to have good tags and titles for your products so they can be found as easily as possible and good pictures so you stand out. Also you have to do a lot of social media so that you drive traffic there so I have an instagram, twitter, facebook and pinterest for the business, but with the social media you do have to post a mix of things and not just your products so that people engage with you more.

The difficulty I have with it is no one else makes crochet garden trellises or really crochet garden products so it takes a while for people to get their head around it. Especially because crocheting is more associated with yarn and obviously that gets wet. No one else is as mad as me to use plastic twine it seems.

i had been feeling a bit disconnected with it because of winter as i have made lots of new products but cant get the product photos done just yet for them so everything felt like it has stalled and views have been a bit lower being winter so hoping from now on it will pick up :-)
