Oh Beckie! I can't speak highly enough about Aldi! Every year the plants are fabulous and such a bargain (as with the seeds) I agree about the wine too. I'm not a great meat eater (but never try to impose my views on anybody else) but folks I know who eat meat have also said it's very good quality. At first I know Aldi thrived in low socio/economic areas, but as other folks tried their products they have moved up the scale and have won awards for their bread, pizzas, wine etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they are top of the heap soon. Anyway, they do a lot of plants, fruit trees, baskets etc in the coming months, so I really hope you enjoy. If you have an iPhone or iPad there is an Aldi App, so you can see what's coming in advance (or no doubt I'll be waffling on about on here) Have a lovely day Beckie x x

Hi Zigs - congratulations/commiserations to you - haven't known you long, so not sure how you feel about the divorce, but one of the above will be correct x I haven't the faintest idea what Grosling Pliers are, but I hope you enjoy them when they arrive!

Such a shame you don't get the plugs. They really are fabulous - would be happy to post over to you if there was anything special you wanted?

Morning folks. Sun shining here, quite warm given it's the beginning of March. Phil fell out of bed this morning, so my backs aching now, no harm done to him, in fact he's an expert faller now! I thought I might get out in the garden for a while today but too sore now, so instead will tackle the shelves upstairs - so many plants waiting to go outside when it's warmer, so will check/water each one. Then I have the monumental task of bathing Baldrick. Oh God. Now that's a task. I will report back later, if I make it through. If not it's been nice briefly knowing you all :loll::doggieshmooze::loll:

Wow I didn't know about the app LyndaG, I certainly need to get that on my iphone, I've been cruising through the car park looking at the plants! I stop when I see something new!!! :heehee:.
I agree their fruit & veg is fantastic, we've also tried their bread, oven chips, potato wedges, yogurts, flour & butter all have been very good. Hubby tried their ribs but said they weren't great but ok, I'm very picky about meat & where it comes from, I'm sure I don't need to eat it at all but I won't get started on that one! I'm glad they are doing so well, I've felt for sometime the big supermarkets have had it too good!
I'm really looking forward to more plants coming in
Hope you've had a good day Lynda. Xx :)

                  Aloha everyone,

I hope that all of you that are still under the weather start to improve soon :grphg:

Woo, I've got an electrical pump for deflated tyres. Shall I pop round with it? :)

I'm still getting better :blue thumb: but Mrs Shiney is still poorly. She says she's feeling a little better this morning. I'm hoping the warmer weather today will perk her up.

Yesterday's birthday lunch went very well. They loved the food and the ambience of the place.

Whilst we were at lunch a friend turned up at our place and fixed some wooden blocks to the greenhouse to hold the 5ft glass panel in the roof, in place. We have some very nice friends :dbgrtmb:

Keep well and have a great day.

                  Aloha!

                      Good morning all,

WOO do not like the word inflation but in your case sounds as though you need a little, take care my friend.

Loli sounds as though your new garden will look lovely if the chooks leave it alone.

Shiney pleased you are feeling a bit brighter hope H is back on her feet soon. God bless.
Have a good day all, take care of yourselves. God bless all. :wub2:

Hope your back is better today Lynda. Not sure bathing Baldrick would help it much though, did you both survive? :heehee:

Plants sound gorgeous Loli. I need to put more of a variety of colours into my main flower bed, it always seems to end up mainly blue and pink.

                        Have a wonderful day everyone
