      Morning everyone,

Am aching all over today and my foot is off again. I am at the end of my tether. I should not have walked Amber yesterday in my slippers it just made me ache all over.

Shiney, hope H is feeling better today and that you get your bathroom and greenhouse sorted.

WOO so terribly sorry you lost your wedding ring it will probably turn up nowhere near where you thought you lost it! I wish you all good fortune in finding it.
Have a good day everyone, God bless.:wub2:

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone starts to feel better today & I hope your ring turns up Woo.
Gracious Shiney it's certainly coming at you from all angles :rolleyespink:, let's hope you've had you're three things now & things will start to improve :fingers crossed:.
My day started at 6am when I went out to let the hens out, I was distracted by a female black bird, she was at the top of my runner bean canes tugging at the string which holds them together! Clever girl managed to get a piece & then flew on to the ground picking up some straw & feathers in her beak :hapydancsmil:she then flew into the conifer hedge at the back, I can't wait to see her & her brood :hapfeet:
Have a good day everyone Xx :dbgrtmb:

Ah well!!! Another thing now.

Our giant willow that we've been looking after for many years (cost 1/6 in the WI in 1953) is going to need a much heavier pruning than normal. We usually have 20ft taken off the top and sides every five years - that's how much it grows. Now the centre is rotting (the woodpeckers love it) and the tree surgeon says that lots of weight is going to have to come off it. The price is £450!! It would have been cheaper but they're going to have to cut it in sections and lower them to the ground, to avoid damaging everything underneath.

Moyra, I wish you better. :wub2:

Loli, yes, they're very big jobs  but they have to be done.

I've found, in the shed, two whole tiles and half a dozen part tiles. I'm hoping they'll be sufficient to patch up any breakages. :blue thumb:

Mrs Shiney is going out to a meal with one of her groups. It's at a hall and they bring food to share. I think it will do her some good and someone is coming to pick her up as she's not really up to driving. Loli, she's taking something for it but I don't think it's what Theo had :snork:

I'm going to roast myself a nice piece of rib of beef with roasties and lots of different veggies. I think I'll do cauli, broccoli, asparagus, French beans and mushrooms. I don't think that's being too piggish

                            Aloha everyone,

Loli, how can you see Mr Fox? It was so dark here at that time that even Mr Fox would have had trouble seeing.

We've got someone coming round at 8 a.m. to have a look at the bath and shower and see what needs doing - before everything collapses :hate-shocked:.

I'm going to try and get a little more gardening done (aching back and wobbly leg muscles :old:).

Keep well and have a great day

                                Hello everyone,

I have not been writing in the section for a little while, but I have been watching and reading all the sections.

Not had a very good night, was up at 1am, my poor dog, Fred has been really poorly the past few days. He has slowly been windy down, yesterday he developed a cough, he is on antibiotics, he also collapsed in the garden whilst having a wee, and also again in the kitchen after his dinner last night.

Fred is 17, and I am not kidding myself that he will be with us much longer, my husband cannot accept the matter, and I have to be blunt with him, that we must make every moment count.

Still, less of my problems. Hope everyone has a good day, off to make my morning coffee and toast.
