I'm pretty certain that I've won it

There is only one suitable place where I can put my seedlings (no greenhouse/heated propagator so, windowsill it is then) and that is in my office. Just needed to tweak the furniture arrangements a tad.

Several tasks later, needed to use the computer but - horror of horrors - NO computer!
Well, no monitor to be precise Blast, that's an expense I hadn't planned on hmm maybe it is just having an 'off' day

Long story short: after a few days (yes, I had checked the leads at the back; yes, I had checked the plug was in .... ) I discovered the cause ....


.... hadn't check the transformer socket

 

You can't have won it, i always win it

Nah, I call that an "adventure"

 

Ha ha so easy in France! There are lots of towns and villages here with the same name, but only one per departement. So once you know the departement you're ok

 

And .... I strike again

Met a very nice lady while out walking the dog. She was accompanied by her two little dogs and her son (she home schools). We chatted and it was very pleasant.
When it came time to say adieu I apologised because I couldn't remember if she said her son was called Jake or Jack
She said: "It's Jiff"
Numpty: "Jiff? As in .... (well, I couldn't say "kitchen cleaner" could I? Pah! That would have been Numpty Supremo! ) .... oranges?"
She replied: "Jiff as in..











... J.E.O.F.F. "


Well of course I had recognised her accent as South African ... but I really did think she'd said JIFF

 

You could have thought it was me

 

It did cross my mind, Jiffster ... but then I realised, you are possibly a little bit older than 9 or 10; although, in this internet world, I could be mistaken in that

 

Miss Jiff says some times that i'm that age, 9 or 10 months old

just spent a fair amount of time trying to light the gas with the timer button on the oven and couldn't understand why it wasn't lighting

Not one of my safer brain fog moments lol

 

Another oven one today

I stuck my dinner in the oven without turning it on.

Im obviously loosing the plot when it comes to the oven. Oh well at least i'm not sticking things in the fridge that don't belong there at the moment

 

I lost the plot a long time ago!!! Half of my cupboard doors have had their 2nd undercoat so I started to give the other half what I thought was their second undercoat, only to realise I am painting the wrong half so now half of my cupboard doors have THREE undercoats.

 

So my house is feeling really hot and i just realised i left the oven on after forgetting to turn it on to cook the dinner i then forgot to turn it off after i took the dinner out

I give up

 

Been there, done this!! house was nice and warm though!! You must have something else at the back of your mind and not really thinking about the actual tasks you are performing?
It isn't those hedgehogs again is it???
