    Morning All...

Its dry and quite a lot of blue sky but dont think its going to last.

I have had visitors for the last day and a half but they have gone now. I like them coming but next time I would like a bit more than a days notice.

Birds are making a lot of noise here and am sure they do it when I have a headache.

Hoping ot get outside a bit later

    Have a great Wednesday Everyone

    Cheers

    Nigel

      Morning all

Beautiful morning again but a bit of a chilly breeze

My greenhouse has arrived  Now for the fun of OH and his mate putting it up at the weekend :heehee:

Hope the cough eases off Loli. I'd heard of putting Vicks on the soles of your feet for a cough but didn't like to suggest it in case everyone thought I was even more bonkers than usual. Shiney can have that honour now

Great news re your foot Moyra, must be lovely to get back out with Amber. Don't overdo it though

Hope you get a chill out day now your visitors have gone Nigel

Wishing 100% bouncability for Woo and a speedy recovery for Mrs S

      Have a wonderful day everyone

That's OK Eve, everyone already knows I'm bonkers :heehee:. Forty years ago my niece gave me a birthday card and it was addressed, by her, 'to the village idiot' :lunapic 130165696578242 5: We're still good friends. :)

@Lolimac No, not pulling your leg. Mrs Shiney is trying it as well. :blue thumb:

Today's funeral was very nice (if you can say that about funerals) and took 90 minutes. It was Roman Catholic with a lot of ceremony. The hymns were sung by one of the deceased's family and she has a beautiful voice. There were about 150 people there.

I've been gardening since I got back and have just had my second rest as my legs, knees and back are suffering a bit. I'm off out there for another 30 minutes before coming back to cook dinner and get off to the club.

Mrs Shiney went to the W.I. meeting at lunch time where the speaker gave a talk on poetry, read some of her own poetry and judged poems that some of members had written. They all said she was one of the best speakers they've had. Mrs Shiney was in charge of booking all the speakers for this year. The poet's my sister :rolleyespink: and I'm booked to give a talk later in the year. :pathd:

                  Aloha everyone

Are you giving the talk, listening to it - or have you forgotten? :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I'll check with Mrs Shiney about the Vicks. :blue thumb:

Once again we have a sunny morning and I hope to get some more edging done. We have students here on Sunday so I want to get things looking fairly good. Have to work out the shopping for their lunch as I'll be in town this afternoon for a meeting.

I wish all those that are under the weather a speedy recovery. I'm still improving :dbgrtmb:

                  Have a great day

                  Aloha!

                      Morning early people :)

The mist has mostly gone this morning, looks like it might be a nice day.

Have a good day everyone and don't get fooled again :)

Good morning early risers. Another sunny day in Medway, but cold along with it. I hope our poorly folk are on the mend and it's great to hear @moyra is getting around a little easier. It's a work day today, but not a late one so get to fiddle with plants a little bit when I come home. Things are bursting out all over the place and it fills me with joy when I see that, especially when I walk down the garden and see Mother Nature doing her thing, there is a tiny surprise out there every day. I'm just having a back to bed coffee and cuddle with Pagan and Baldrick then full steam ahead. Wishing everybody a lovely day x x x

                            Morning all

                            Another lovely day here.

Internet keeps dropping so will just get a quick hello in and leave it to it's own devices for the rest of the day. Only seems to happen in the mornings.

Hope everyone who's poorly is starting to feel better and that the sun shines on us all

Take care and have a wonderful day

Sunny day here. Along with usual garden tasks, like watering and feeding plants, had an unusual short task. Swings and roundabouts - some of you may know about the dead rose bush in my front garden which was killed (bleached) by a disturbed, anti social neighbour. (She also did the same to next door's hedge...spray bleached it, it blackened and died; replaced now with a fence). [IMG]

Well, the part of the rose bush that I managed to wrench off, I have now placed on the back part of my shed roof! It is a deterrent to further prevent her from trespassing (she climbs on to my shed roof). Apart from the sheer bulk of it, the bark also has long, thin but sharp thorns. There are marbles strewn across the shed roof now (which I thought would be enough) but she did break in even after that! (Minimal vandalism e.g. displacement of ornaments, some broken stems and plastic bag firmly into base of a plant - since she knows I now report it and get photos).

I have a positive mindset and so I delight in turning a negative into a positive, e.g. when I see her latest antic I endeavour to exercise more (release of emotions plus the pathetic attempt to somehow get myself just a little bit further along the road to fitness!) :dancy:
