Watched Any Good Films Lately?

I watched A Family Thing last night. Not my usual kind of thing but it had two of my favourite actors in it - Robert Duvall and James Earl Jones. Quite enjoyable in a no brainer sort of way..............

 

I also want to get The Theory of Everything, has anyone seen it?

 

No Supposedly very good though.

I watched a documentary film called Anton Corbijn Inside Out..................


It is about the legendary photographer Anton Corbijn who is also a bloody good film directoras well. Despite having taken some of the most iconic images (including those of some of the most iconic people) of the late 20th and early 21st centuries he seems incredibly shy and insecure. And obsessive. Some example of his work;

He also did a lot of work with Depeche Mode. Especially video.

 

I watched a film called 'Kickass'
I am not sure which age group it was aimed at, as some of it was quite violent.
A very silly film, but it kept me watching till the end. Entertaining

 

Watched a Charles Bronson movie last night..Ten to Midnight (1983)..Awesome movie

You're right about that. Martin Gore gives Corbijn's work a lot of the credit for them finally being seen by the media as something other than an electro pop band.

Watched The Elephant Man last night, mainly because Anthony Hopkins is one of my fave actors, brilliant, sad film.

An ex-hitman comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him.

 

Last night I watched The John List Story, quite gruesome actually, but David Caruso is good.

 

He is really underrated Val.

I watched another musical documentary - Heima. It documents a series of free concerts that Sigur Ros did in their home country of Iceland............
