The state of the NHS really bothers me, seeing ambulances queuing up outside the hospital entrances with patients still in the back and no room inside!!! How bad does it have to get??
They were interviewing an ambulance driver on TV and he was saying how depressed he feels at the end of the day, not being able to do his job properly, people left on trolleys in the corridor!!
        Dreadful situation.

I think its been happening for years Val, its just that Wallace and Grommit has "weaponised the NHS", so now every week we get a report on the news telling us how long the waiting list is at A & E.

Sadly, I can only give hints at the joke, as it really isn't suitable for open forum....

Think of a rather horrid, four letter (swear) word that is some times used to describe a ladies genitalia; make it plural by adding an S on the end, then add "irritating bunch of" in front of that word.

Ed Millibands biggest problem is that he is not cut out for the juvenile name calling politics that the Bullingdon Bully is so fond of.
Camoclown is regarded as a joke by the other leaders on the world stage as a result of his arrogant attitude, Ed Milliband has the intellectual capacity to be taken seriously.

Camoclowns fagboy (AKA George Osbourne) had the cheek to crow about the miracle he has worked with the economy as he delivered a budget to benefit the wealthy again. Apart from that it was basically devoid of substance. The economy is still a mess and has far from recovered. Unemployement is not reduced as the unemployed only need take a part time job or a zero hours contract in order to be removed from the figures. His recovery is based upon property values rising (whilst our young are faced with the prospect of being unable to afford to buy or even rent in some parts of the UK) and not on the country actually producing anything (notice how quiet they are on our over dependence on the service industry compared to five years ago?). If we did have another financial crisis he would stand by doing nothing until it was too late.
If they get re-elected forget the NHS. Sorry, but that is the truth of it.

The Greens are well meaning but sadly they are the intellectual baby of middle class intellectuals. They get my vote at a local level but that is where their effectiveness runs out I'm afraid.

UKIP - pathetic parodies of Thatch's vile regime. Nuff said.

Finally, the LibDems. I actually think that this country owes them a big thank you. If the Eton Wallies had been left to run this country their way with a majority in the house the damage to this country would have been irreversible. It took us until the mid 2000's to recover from the damage Thatch did. So thank you LibDems but you'll still not get my vote.

So as I see it if you have any social conscience you'll vote Labour.

Just my thoughts and no offence intended.

I don't normal do politics with friends but I will on this occasion as I know you won't judge me. I'm going to vote conservatives again.
I cannot vote for labour I can't bare Ed, he's no leader.
Nick Clegg is a pathetic little man, I feel he needs to grow some balls if I'm honest (hope that didn't offend anyone)
Farage doesn't know his bottom from his elbow, he does more u turns than anyone I know.
The Green Party, don't know their policies. I think David & his cronies are doing a fair job, not brilliant I might add but fair!

Strangely I think that he has all the makings of a good leader. His biggest problem is that he lacks the arrogance of my local MP so he comes across as a bit of a wet willie. Intellectually he can eat my MP for breakfast.

Not offended. Personally I think he (and Vince Cable) did a very good job of keeping Camo, his fagboy and Mrs May in check.

That is just their leader :heehee: But their policies have been formed through rose tinted specs.

My problem with them is that they are doing an unfair job.

                            Ahem
                            <<<<<

                            I quite agree.

                            BUT

I was quite disillusioned after the last election, which was my first that the person I thought could really change things didn't. A lot of young people voted for them believing they were the young peoples party, but then got the two fingers.

I said to a good friend of mine that I was considering not voting ever again and she then instantly replied saying "You know women were force fed so you could vote". I do however wonder what those women would have thought if they saw what the state of politics were like and if they still would have fought for that cause.

So this got me thinking. How can I vote but have no political impact whatsoever? Mr Jane feels the same and we will either do drawings on our ballots or vote for the monster raving loony party or the greens. Thus exercising our democratic powers but having no effect on the nationwide politics.

I will vote normally in the locals though.

That takes a lot of guts to say that. BMP used to be quite strong round here but have since been taken over by UKIP.

I voted for Lib Dem's last time round. Along with a lot of other young people. I think many of them saw him as an underdog, the TV debates we had in the run up, both Cameron and brown were agreeing with what he said and although he appeared weak compared to them seemed to be talking more sense. Remember those T Shirts "I agree with Nick?".

So you have a LibDem MP? I genuinely believe that what they did achieve as the minority partner in the coalition was something to be proud of. If the tories had not been kept in check it would have been a nightmare for the less fortunate members of our society. The LibDems had to be pragmatic about what was achievable and it was far more important that they at least held some influence.
I also suspect that Nick Clegg would be very good on the world stage.
                              It wasn't a wasted vote.

I vote green locally as our local Green Party and councillors have done very good work for our local community. They help check our tory council much like the LibDems do at Westminster. At a local level I believe that the Green Party is a force for good.
