Wow you must be robust/have a healthy constitution. If I did that I would be sure to get a cold.

Today I am grateful for a sudden (uncharacteristic) spurt of energy, enabling me to accomplish many tasks! Wish I knew the reason - then I would bottle it! [IMG]

I was surprised, and pleased, by Sainsbury's the other day. I by quite a lot of their twin packs of mangoes (for breakfast) and the last five packs have had one rotten one in each pack. The outer part has been fine but the inside was rotten!

I take the rotten one back each time (next time I'm passing the shop) and they give me the full cost of the pack (£2) although I have still been getting one good one each time. I wouldn't be writing this if that was all they did as it's good customer service to do it.

When I took the last one back I told the customer service people that they need to look into it further as it has been five in succession. This time they gave me the £2, gave me a new pack for nothing and gave me £5 for my trouble.

                  Well done Sainsbury's :dbgrtmb:

Today I am grateful for my mother still being alive...just! She is 94 and has survived 2 strokes, 2 heart attacks (now with a stent fitted), pneumonia and a pinned hip operation. Yesterday she was transferred from her cosy care home to hospital since they found fluid on her lungs. I hope
that drying out her lungs will revive her again but there has been a steady decline and loss of mobility (notably since the hip op. a few months ago). She is such a sweet woman and well loved by those that know her.
