just a thought with the tree peony they may flower this year but you will be lucky to have any next year as they will be sending roots out so just so you know.

Oh wow! Such a lovely flower.... :wub2:

Thanks for the heads up on possible lack of flowers next year. That's good to know, so I won't worry if they don't then :blue thumb:

I decided to pop to a car boot this morning before work and managed to pick up some bargains:

An edging iron and a pair of edging shears from two separate sellers £1 and 50p!

And then 4 pots of crocus 50p each (the tools fell on them on the bus journey...) there also quite dainty? I have a small clump in the garden already but the flowers are much larger on the garden ones I'm sure?

OH got me an edgeworthia chrysantha grandiflora! I can't stop smelling it, I've named him Eddie. :spinning:
It was quite pricey but I felt it was so much bigger than the ones online. He also picked out some primroses and we went back to my favourite place in the world (Avondale nursery) and I got some centurea and primula auriculas.

It is from China I think, they call it the paper bush. The smell is amaaaazzing. I'm going to see if I can propagate some cuttings. :yay:

Will see what exactly is in the boxes, once I've cleared up and sorted out my ol' lad. Poor boy, he's having a bad run of things at the moment.... image.jpg

Just went to Aldi on lunch..... all summer bulbs are half price at 49p. Obviously I went overboard and bought a potting tray for £4.99 for my greenhouse. :)
