Whoever paid for it is one question. But you can't have an ex-king under a car park. Doesn't look good on stamps or coins.

I do agree that it has brought a piece of history to life and shows how powerful a bit of defamatory propaganda on Shakespeare's behalf can have a big impact.

I don't mind tax funding the funeral for a historical event, I will be less keen on paying the parking fine :snork:

They would have been better off burying their football team :-)

What will the cost be to us when they re-intern the thousands of skeletons dug up on the cross London rail route

The strange thing is that when the Lady who'd been leading a campaign to find Richard said that when she went with the Archaeologists to survey and dig in the Car Park there was white lined slot there with a large "R"...........and that's where they found him.
:dunno: :ideaIPB:I reckon they must have built the car park immediately after the battle, but buried him first, and then painted the "R" on to remind them where they'd put him.:coffee:

I feel like i should of cared but if im honest i didnt

I found the analysis of his bones etc interesting but if im honest whats the point of the whole big ceremony the guy has been dead for so long I just dont see the point.

I should point out im not into big funerals and burials when someone has just died anyway.

Im also not into big ceremonal stuff either which might be way i couldnt care less

This post isn't about King R, but about the country going mad, so hope I can post here! Zayn Malik has left 1D and Jeremy Clarkson punched a colleague and was (IMHO) rightly sacked. UK in total meltdown. Twitter and the net in general alive with grieving girls trying to express their feelings of loss. Witnessed school girls crying today! Counsellors in place to cope with fallout. So plane crashes, abused children, Isis, murdered folk, abused women, election etc etc all on back burner now. How can we go on without Zayn? Or dear, sweet Jeremy? I was looking forward to going to Aldi for my veggie plugs tomorrow and then discussing it all with @Beckie76. Seems little point now. I'm far too bereft.............:cry3::cry3::cry3:.:roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:
