Spruce, they are fantastic! What and how many plants are in the basket out the front of your house? Presumably you can just buy trailing ivy from a garden centre?

Yup, that the one. Beautiful. Did you grow from corms or plugs?

Are the nepeta in side holes and the begonia in the top?

                          Hi

I dont side plant anymore as when the top lot grow it smothers them , I grow the nepeta on the top close to the edge and as it grows I pin it down into the compost and it roots so FEW CAN GO ALONG WAY

They look great , I would still go with 5 but the only thing I would point out the red colours last longer than the the yellow/orange or white , what you could do is plant in small pots and grow on as they flower very quickly , I normally nip them off so they put energy into growing shoots
Plus you could decide which colour to plant , dont over water them and only water in the morning as you dont want them having soggy bottoms at night times when about 3 inches high nip the growing tip out and they will start to produce side shoots and the more shoots you have the more flowers , they tend to do nothing for a week or two and may drop a leaf or two but dont worry just remove the old leaves on the compost to keep them growing in clean conditions
