    Aloha everyone,

Yes, Loli, I had trouble with wind as well. :snork: The blowaway blew away and an empty compost bag got caught on the solar panels!

There's not a hint of a breeze this morning and we have a pink glow in the sky.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

      Good Morning everyone,

Well, I hope it is not going to be another day like yesterday. It was difficult getting Amber out in between the showers and driving rain and wind. Besides my joints do not like this weather at all. Roll on Spring as this is not my idea of it.
Have a good day everyone, stay safe, dry and warm and above all well, God bless.:wub2:

          Morning all

Sunny here this morning, but best of all no wind. Guess this morning will be spent clearing up the debris that's all over the garden

          Beautiful sunrise Woo

Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning folks. Hope everybody had a good weekend. Weather in Medway was awful, particularly on the dog walk yesterday which resulted in Baldrick being marched straight through the house and into the bath due to mud and dampness levels. And we were freezing! @Beckie76 sorry it took so long to respond - busy weekend! Yes, was a little disappointing this week, but only 3 more sleeps and it's a much more interesting Aldi haul to deal with!

Hoping the weather improves a bit this week, I read somewhere that the soil should start to warm up this month, it's not before time!

I started the 5x50 Challenge yesterday (it crept up without me knowing, lol) so will be walking 5k for 50 days, raising money for the MS society. I've still got my knee strapped up so should be fun :roflol::roflol::roflol: Still, it should keep me out of trouble and on my toes (no pun intended) Haven't explained the enormity of it to Baldrick, he's a real couch potato, so think I'll let him deal with it one day at a time,he'll never cope otherwise!:doggieshmooze:

Enjoy your Monday folks of GC - is that the sun I can see out there (not building my hopes up!)

Morning all, another very windy cold day here in Suffolk  , I want some sunshine & I want to clean out the hen coops without freezing to death at the same time! My poor hens are looking a bit fed up. the wind is in the wrong direction for my garden at the moment it's so windy. :fingers crossed: I have my fingers crossed the weather will be better for the weekend???
@LyndaG Aldi this week was rubbish! I was so disappointed, the plants were really looking drab , I boght 2 packs of marigolds, 1 pack of tomatoes & a pack of lettuice, I hope we don't get many more weeks like that! I have my heart set on lavender this week, I'm going to complain if they are in the same sorry state as the plants this week!
We've got printer problems at home...dam thing will not print, we've reset it so many times, it's connecting to the computer, gets so far then comes up 1 document in queue! I wish I had more patience with technology! :wallbanging: Hopefully hubby will sort it before I get home :blue thumb:.
I didn't have so many wild birds in the garden this morning, I'm guessing they don't like the wind either! I filled up their fatball feeders before I left for work, a bit of fat in this blustery weather will do them good :dbgrtmb:
I hope everyone's feeling better, I'm sure the extra hours of sunlight will help cure you all.
For those of you without blustery weather I hope you have a nice day I the garden. :spinning:

                Good morning everyone,

:phew: Hope everyone managed to sleep OK ,it's been crash bang wallop here all night with the wind blowing:rolleyespink: Everything is still standing so far but it's not letting up yet.

Moyra ...It's certainly not a day to be out with Amber:blue thumb:

                AB..:hpybtd: Enjoy your day:thumbsup:

                    Aloha everyone,

Very windy but warm here. It's 52F

I've put the blowaway back and lugged a very heavy paving stone to it and put it on the bottom shelf.

The bird feeders have blown over in the wind and I hope there's not too much damage to them. I've been getting too much DIY to do. Not good for a DIY hater! Yesterday we finished putting the shelves together in the loft and I've fixed them around an upright so that they don't wobble. I do enough wobbling as it is! :heehee:

More DIY today . A friend of mine and myself are putting a door closer on the door to the main hall in one of our village halls. He'll do the DIY and I'll hold the ladder and pass up any tools.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

                      Good Morning,

Well what a night, crash bang wallop, haven't been out to survey any damage. Must take my meds and then take Amber out. I actually brought Blue the mobility scooter in yesterday when I got back from walking Amber as I feared it was going to be a bad night. Glad I did. I hope everyone else survived.

Happy birthday AB, gosh expensive in your house for celebrations with you both having birthdays on top of each other!

Very stormy here too last night. Still windy this morning but at least the rain has stopped

Not going to get to do anything in the garden today so might make a start on prepping the bathroom for painting. Been putting it off for months

                        Happy birthday AB :hpybtd:

Goodness what a night, I'm not sure if I had any sleep, the wind was howling around the house, I got up four times to check the hens were ok & hadn't been blown away, they are strapped down but even so I was fretting. My greenhouse had another broken pane of glass which is annoying but I'm thankful everything else seems ok. My first job of the day was at 6am a neighbours bin had blown over in the wind so hubby & I cleared that up, we let the girls out but they are being blown around poor dears. My cat brought in a mouse for my breakfast! :heehee: Thankfully he had already killed it so we didn't have to chase it!
Little B hates the wind she's sitting on the kitchen floor at the moment looking a bit sorry for herself, she perked up when I toasted a hot cross bun! She's a cheeky hen!
My cats sitting in front of the fire, I'd rather like to sit there for the day myself!
I hope you are all safe & no-one has any serious damage?
Stay safe everyone & keep warm.
                        Have a good day :coffee:

Good morning folks. Unless anybody gets their post up before me I'm first to post on this thread today - yay! Never thought I'd see that happen! How is everybody? Yesterday half my garden gate blew off, the bottom half no less - now the cats think it's a giant cat flap and Baldrick is trying to find ways to make good his escape!

@Beckie76 yes, big disappointment at Aldi, lol - still, just one more sleep and I KNOW they won't let us down again, we will be staggering home with all our spoils and dancing around our gardens with glee (or something like that) at the moment with the gate the way it is, assuming I could do the limbo whilst carrying a load of plants, I could dance right into the alleyway. I wonder if they will have gates for sale this week? :roflol:

The week is turning into one of those mega busy ones, the sort where you get up on a Sunday morning, see the devastation in your house and think "what happened here then?" And it's only Wednesday - arrrrggghhhh lol

Anyway, 1st April, so double check everything you hear on TV and read to make sure it's true. Until later big (((hugs))) ps so sorry haven't even had a chance to check back and check how our poorly folks are. Hope all are on the mend x
