Well I hope Sheal's root doesn't cause to much cursing in the "M" household when it's being extricated!

Having rigged up my temporary bubble wrap cloche in the greenhouse I moved a lot of babies out today, fingers crossed! :fingers crossed: Space indoors has soon disappeared again though as I spent three hours potting on more seedlings and I'm still not done!

We did a lot more transplanting of shrubs, splitting and potting grasses for sale, digging and weeding in the veg plot, replaced the weed suppressant membrane that wind had wrapped around the ShineyFrame posts :mute: (1,000 sq. ft of it :phew:), then gave up from getting too cold in the wind.

I can't stand working in the wind either so I haven't done much outside over the last few days apart from make sure stuff is safe from the winds and clearing up some of next doors pampas grass that had ended up in my garden. I've also done some pricking out indoors and will do some more today if I get a chance.

Looks like a statement of intent to me! I know if there is something that needs to be done, I will start, even if I know I will not finish, so I HAVE to finish it at a later date....

yep @Sian in Belgium i def have to finish it now It cant be left like that lol

I thought the sooner i start it the sooner it will be finished

Plus i want to get that panel i started finished with two coats and the one post of the pergola so that the wistera, buddleia, dwarf buddleias and primroses can all be planted back into that bed. so they can have a good growing season.

The second fence panel and rest of the pergola can wait. Altho I wont be doing the top of the pergola as I don't like standing on chairs let alone going up ladders so getting a bloke in to paint the top bit

Well, an unusual "gardening" job (it took place in the garden!)

I have some triangular pieces of fake turf/artificial grass that brightens up an otherwise dingy grey concrete patio area. (Cleaning the concrete just renders it a lighter shade of grey...I need colour!) The recent strong winds lifted it up so I had to think of a means of securing it down in place. I had some old white flour (confined to the shed for possible, creative usage) so I mixed that up to a paste, drizzled it down on the concrete (where the grass borders would be) and placed back the turf....firming it down with my feet.

I'm loving the blue fence panel. Very nice!

Busy day here. Potted on cauliflower, beetroot, various perrenials with missing labels (oops). Brought out the garlic and sprouts ready to be planted up the allotment (though mainly to make room in the coldframe from the newly potted out stuff!). Rearranged my propagators and windowsill seedlings/plants to make more room. Moved my herbs ready to be planted in the herb garden. Bought some cheap garden decorations and put them up. Received and placed more raised bed frames for the allotment, plus more bark chips. Didn't get chance to do any work on them but feels better seeing the frames in place because now I can really imagjne and see how much work needs to be done. I'm really excited!

We placed our family of scarecrows too. They look lovely!

Also, is it weird to have planting panic?
I'm dreading planting out my veg up the allotment as I'm expecting it all to die!!
